Boxing Day at Gatecrasher is always a special occasion. A momentous celebration bringing together the World’s best DJ’s, a simmering festive atmosphere and mind-blowing production.
Historically one of the biggest Crasher events of the year, The White Party arrives at Sheffield’s Carling Academy on the 26th December 2008.
Headlining is the infamous, Eddie Halliwell. Gaining notoriety for his deft technical ability, Eddie made his name in Sheffield and there will always be a mutual respect with the Crasher crowd. The club where his musical tastes and influences were born, Gatecrasher welcomes Eddie home and awaits his full fire deliverance.
Also headlining is Judge Jules, the former resident DJ who is synonymous with Crasher and always raises the roof on Boxing Day. With an illustrious career spanning over two decades, Jules remains at the forefront of dance music. Due to release his latest artist album, ‘Bring the Noise’, Jules will be road testing new material sure to set the dance-floor alight.
Another firm Crasher favorite, Matt Hardwick will be on hand to fuel the festivities. Having recently launched his own label, Kill The Lights, he continues to rock clubs worldwide, whilst bringing new talent through the ranks. An essential part of Gatecrasher’s history, Boxing Day wouldn’t be right without Matt Hardwick.
Following gigs at all the world’s leading clubs, running a hugely successful record label and radio show, you would be forgiven for thinking Menno De Jong has been around for years. At only 24, his rapid ascendancy through the DJ ranks has been significant. Captivating the Crasher crowd at last year’s Boxing Day event, we look forward to hear what Menno has in store for The White Party.
Next up, Simon Patterson who has certainly had a remarkable 2008. Entering the TOP100 DJ’s poll at 64, Patterson has begun to raise his profile with gigs across the globe. Known for his blistering productions, his tracks have found their way into every A-List DJ box, with ‘Smack’ and ‘Us’, being touted as the ‘Tunes of 2008’. Certain to provide a percussive punch, Simon Patterson will no doubt rip the place to bits!
Manuel Le Saux completes the main room line up. A Crasher debut for the progressive trancer from Italy, his tunes have been supported by the likes of PVD, Armin Van Buuren and many others. Releasing productions & remixes on the famous, Bonzai music label, he is quickly growing in stature with numerous high profile gigs throughout the world.
With a white themed dress code and Gatecrasher’s renowned production, this is one festive shindig that’s going to go off with a bang. Traditionally a sell-out event, please purchase tickets early to avoid disappointment.
