Creamfields and My Space Team Up for The Next Superstar DJ Competition

Both MySpace and Creamfields provide platforms for the worlds most innovative new artists. Myspace has catapulted hundreds of artists to stardom including Lily Allen and Arctic Monkeys and the music website phenomenon are on board to find the cream of the crop.

Creamfields has a trailblazing history as pioneers of supporting fresh emerging talent from the likes of Paul van Dyk, Eddie Halliwell and Hernan Cattaneo and are always on the lookout for the world’s next superstar DJ. So to get tunes played to key music industry moguls, entrants simply need to upload a 30 minute ËœCreamfields Guest Mix” to their MySpace profile. All entries will be shortlisted by a panel of industry experts and 10 finalists chosen, these finalists will then be added to www.myspace.com/officialcreamfields so the public can vote for their favourite and whoever receives the most votes will be booked for this summer’s hottest festival.

Creamfields have announced a nationwide competition to give one up and coming DJ the once in a lifetime opportunity to take to the decks alongside legends Fatboy Slim, Paul van Dyk, Tiesto, Erick Morillo, 2ManyDJs, Sasha, Paul Oakenfold and many more of the worlds finest DJ’s.

Katie Gerber from MySpace says: Myspace are the internet’s biggest innovators of new music and are the first port of call to hear breaking artists for people all over the world. Myspace and Creamfields are a great combination to take talented DJ’s out of the bedroom and into the festival arena where they will play alongside the world’s biggest DJs.

The Creamfields DJ competition launches today so here’s how to enter;

• Upload a 30-minute mix to your My Space page and make sure it is titled ËœCreamfields guest mix”
• Go to www.myspace.com/officialcreamfields and fill out the form.
•  Deadline for entries is 3pm Friday 25^th July.
• Finalists will be notified after the closing date and the 10 finalists will be uploaded onto www.myspace.com/officialcreamfields where the public can vote for their favorite.
• The overall winner will be announced on 12^th August
